These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") set out the legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Creative Dialogues ("Creative Dialogues," "we," "us," or "our") when you access or use our websites, mobile applications, events, workshops, mentorship programmes, newsletters, or any other products or services we make available (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Our promise: We build bridges between disciplines so ideas can resonate and grow. These Terms help ensure that bridge is safe, respectful, and fair for everyone crossing it.

1. Definitions

"Account" refers to the personal profile you create to access certain portions of the Services.

"Content" refers to all text, graphics, images, video, audio, data, and information made available through the Services.

"Event" refers to any in-person or virtual gathering organised or promoted by Creative Dialogues including conferences, workshops, panel discussions, mentoring sessions, and exhibitions.

"Platform" refers to the websites (e.g. creativedialogues.co) and associated domains, sub-domains, and applications owned or controlled by Creative Dialogues.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an Account or attend Events. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at Creative@yvtco.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your Account. Creative Dialogues is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4. Our Services

Creative Dialogues curates Events, publishes editorial content, and provides networking opportunities. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability to you.

5. Event Registration

Event participation is free of charge and may require prior registration through our Platform or authorised partners. Your registration is confirmed once you receive an email confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who breaches these Terms or behaves in a disruptive manner.

6. Fees & Payment

Creative Dialogues does not charge any fees for attending Events. All our programming is offered free of charge as part of our mission to create inclusive and accessible spaces for cultural exchange.

7. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, we appreciate advance notice so we can offer your spot to someone else. If we reschedule an Event, you will be notified and offered a chance to attend the rescheduled session. In the case of an Event cancellation, we will notify you as early as possible. In the event of force majeure (see Clause 15), we will do our best to reschedule.

8. Content & Intellectual Property

The Services, including all Content, are owned by or licensed to Creative Dialogues and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content without our prior written consent. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any material you submit or upload ("User Content"). By providing User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt such content in connection with the Services and our promotional materials. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this licence and that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights.

10. Code of Conduct

You agree not to harass, threaten, or intimidate any person; post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or obscene material; upload viruses or malware; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or related systems. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your Account and/or legal action.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or performance of any third-party sites.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using the Services, you agree to the processing of your data as described therein.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any Content is accurate or complete.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creative Dialogues will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim — which, for free Events, is zero.

15. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government action, labour disputes, or interruption of power or communications.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Creative Dialogues, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Creative Dialogues regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
